INVITATION TO SING WITH THE STAR CHORALE
The Star Chorale is a well-established community choir open to all interested singers from 16 years and upwards. You do not have to be a former student of MLC to join.
There is short audition required to join Star Chorale, to establish vocal range and musical ability. Whilst the ability to read music fluently is a definite advantage, it is not necessarily a strict requirement, depending on vocal quality, prior experience and aural skills. Singers with previous musical experience are especially encouraged to audition.
The audition is very short and informal, and gives our Music Director the opportunity to listen to each individual voice, and place them in the most appropriate section of the choir. It can usually be scheduled immediately following a rehearsal by prior arrangement.
Singers in all voice sections are currently sought, with high sopranos and tenors particularly welcome!
REHEARSALSÂ
Regular weekly rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 7.30 pm until 10pm, at the Holy Trinity Community Centre, (corner Pakington St and High Street, Kew).
New members are welcome to come along and have a sing and get to know us before joining.
